Locum Tenens Pain Management Physician — Interventional Procedures, Epic, Travel/Lodging Covered

We’re seeking a locum tenens pain management physician to join an established interventional practice in Lewisburg, PA, providing both inpatient and outpatient coverage starting 04/13/2026 and continuing on an ongoing basis. Typical clinical days are Monday–Thursday, 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., with a mix of clinic and procedure time.

Who you’ll treat

• Adult and geriatric patients (18+)
• High-volume practice: roughly 2,022 clinic visits and 1,820 procedures per day
• Case mix focused on interventional pain: trigger point injections, peripheral nerve stimulation, radiofrequency ablation, nerve blocks, and ultrasound-guided procedures

Privileges, credentialing, and logistics

• Hospital privileges required
• Credentialing typically takes about 90–120 days

Required qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania medical license
• Board certified in Anesthesiology or PM&R with Pain Management
• DEA registration
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as an interventional pain proceduralist
• Experience with Epic EMR
• Relevant certifications as required

Core responsibilities

• Provide outpatient clinic care and interventional pain services
• Perform scheduled procedures (see required procedures)
• Evaluate and manage adult and geriatric pain patients
• Document encounters and procedures in Epic
• Coordinate care closely with physicians and APPs to ensure continuity

• Trigger point injections (TPI)
• Peripheral nerve stimulation (PNS)
• Radiofrequency ablation (RFA)
• Nerve blocks
• Ultrasound-guided pain procedures
