Position Highlights

• Specialty: Daytime Hospitalist full-time, employed position at St. Joseph's Hospital, Tucson, AZ
• Schedule: Shift-based block scheduling 7 on / 7 off with some flexibility built in for work-life balance
• Shift Coverage: 1 swing shift and 1 nocturnist on rotation
• Team Support: Two APPs during day shifts, one APP overnight
• Patient Volume: Average daily census of 18 patients with 1-2 admissions per shift
• ICU Model: Closed ICU Intensivist and IV Team provide procedure support
• Teaching Opportunity: Optional involvement in teaching internal medicine residents
• Language Bonus: Spanish-speaking skills a plus, but not required

Candidate Requirements

• MD or DO degree
• Board eligible or board certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine
• Arizona medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure in Arizona
