Job Description

Tenet Healthcare and the Desert Care Network are seeking talented Gynecologic Oncologists to join our well-established Comprehensive Cancer Center in beautiful Palm Springs, California. We are conducting a confidential, nationwide search for a full-time physician to support our growing program.

This is an exceptional opportunity to step into a thriving, full-scope practice with robust support and immediate volume.

Position Highlights:

  • Full-time position available immediately
  • Turn-key practice environment - fully staffed with experienced support teams, equipped exam rooms, and the resources you need to succeed
  • Balanced schedule - approximately 2.5-3 clinic days per week and 2 dedicated surgery days
    • Potential for OR block time at both the hospital and our outpatient surgery center
  • Minimal ramp-up time with an established patient base and strong referral patterns
  • High level of autonomy with flexible scheduling options
  • Collaborative environment with exceptional support from our Medical Oncology team
  • Advanced technology access, including two Da Vinci robotic systems onsite

Candidate Requirements:

  • MD or DO degree required
  • BE/BC with the ABOG/ABMS
  • California licensed or eligible to obtain licensure in the state of California
  • Candidates of all experience levels are welcome and encouraged to apply

Compensation:

  • $414,000-$637,000
  • Benefits, retirement, tail and malpractice offered

*Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an employees qualifications, experience and personal productivity.

About the Desert Care Network Comprehensive Cancer Center:

The Desert Care Network Comprehensive Cancer Center spans 60,000 square feet and offers advanced technology in a warm, patient-centered environment. Our multidisciplinary team includes physicians, nurses, technologists, and support staff who provide coordinated, compassionate care in a convenient setting.

Our medical staff features medical oncologists/hematologists, two radiation oncologists, two surgical oncologists, a thoracic surgery specialist, two neurosurgeons, two pathologists, two radiologists, a clinical psychologist, and pharmacists licensed to support acute pain management.

The Center has been serving the Palm Springs community since 1989. In 2011, we expanded with a 4,000-square-foot La Quinta satellite location, offering East Valley residents access to a state-of-the-art infusion center. The Comprehensive Cancer Center has earned a three-year accreditation and a Commendation Award from the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons for meeting or exceeding all 36 standards of care.

Within the Center is our Breast Center of Excellence, staffed by dedicated radiologists, surgical oncologists, technologists, and nurses committed to delivering high-quality breast care.
