- Long term vacancy coverage
- Consistent surgical pathology volume
- Established inpatient pathology service
**Assignment Details**
- ASAP start
- Ongoing coverage
- Scheduled clinical hours with call
- Inpatient setting
- Monday through Friday 8a–5p
- Night beeper call 7p–7a
- Weekend beeper call 7a–7a
**Clinical Details**
- Surgical pathology focus
- Up to 30 diagnostic cases per day
- Primarily anatomic pathology
- Frozen sections as needed
- Limited phone consults
- Pathologist assistants available
- Call for unassigned patients
- Call ratio 6:1
- 20 minute response time
**Requirements**
- Board certified pathology
- No specific state license required to bid
- Anatomic and clinical pathology trained
- Comfort with surgical pathology volume
- Ability to take beeper call
**Compensation**
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
- Malpractice: Provided
- Travel: Reimbursed
