Pediatric Hospitalist covering newborn nursery, deliveries, pediatric admissions, and ED consults.
Shift: 7a 7p onsite; night call 7p 7a offsite (must respond within 30 minutes).
Typical day census: 2 4 patients (rarely up to 7 8).
Night census: 2 4 patients.
Pediatric admissions occur primarily overnight, newborn admissions (mostly daytime).
EMR: Meditech & GE Centricity (transitioning to Expanse).
