**Locums | Cardiothoracic Surgery | Call Coverage | Lansing, MI**
**Why This Role**
- Level I trauma center coverage
- Dedicated CV surgery OR access
- Consistent call schedule with block coverage
**Assignment Details**
- Start date ASAP
- Hospital-based practice
- Weekday onsite rounding with call
- One weekend per month call coverage
- Weekend call Friday evening to Monday morning
- Additional one week of call per month
**Clinical Details**
- Adult patient population
- Epic EMR
- Adult cardiac and general thoracic surgery
- CABG
- Valve repair and replacement
- Thoracotomy and lung resections
- Pericardial window
- Chest tube placement
- Mediastinal surgery
**Requirements**
- Board certified cardiothoracic surgery
- Active Michigan license
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- Clean malpractice and license history
- NPDB self-query within 30 days
**Compensation**
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
- Malpractice: Provided
- Travel: Reimbursed
