The Opportunity

Abrazo Medical Group - Biltmore Cardiology is seeking a fellowship-trained cardiac electrophysiologist to join its cardiovascular team and expand access to EP services across Abrazo West Campus and Abrazo Arrowhead Campus.

The West Valleys continued population growth has created strong demand for electrophysiology services. The incoming physician will have an established referral network, dedicated EP resources, and collaboration with two electrophysiologists within the Abrazo network.

Practice Highlights

  • Primarily outpatient EP practice with dedicated procedure and clinic days
  • Monday-Friday schedule
  • No regularly scheduled call or STEMI call; limited coverage may be requested during colleague absences
  • Established referral base
  • Dedicated EP lab block time at both campuses
  • Pulse field ablation available at Abrazo West
  • Two EP colleagues for collaboration and mentorship
  • Dedicated support from a medical assistant, surgery scheduler/referral coordinator, and device technician
  • Practice locations across the West Valley, with hospital-based procedures at Abrazo West and Abrazo Arrowhead and outpatient clinics in Buckeye and Glendale
  • Approximately 15-20 patients on clinic days
  • EMR: Athena in the clinic and Cerner in the hospital

The incoming physician will have the opportunity to perform a broad range of electrophysiology procedures, including atrial fibrillation ablations such as PVI and complex or redo procedures, SVT ablations, ventricular tachycardia ablations, ICD and pacemaker implantation and management, device revisions and upgrades, loop recorder implantation, and advanced electrophysiology studies.

Candidate Qualifications

  • MD or DO
  • Fellowship training in clinical cardiac electrophysiology
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in clinical cardiac electrophysiology
  • Eligible for Arizona medical licensure
  • New graduates and experienced electrophysiologists encouraged to apply
  • Collaborative, patient-centered approach to care

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time employed opportunity through Tenet Physician Resources includes a competitive 12-month base salary guarantee with productivity upside, transitioning to a wRVU-based compensation model in year two. The position also includes an annual CME allowance and CME days, employer-paid malpractice insurance, and relocation assistance.
