Job Description

We are seeking a Tele-Oversight Physician to provide remote support, collaboration, and on-call services to Nurse Practitioner and/or Physician Assistant Hospitalists across our rural Critical Access Hospitals in Illinois. This is a unique opportunity to impact small communities while working remotely alongside a physician-led and owned team that truly values quality care and professional growth.

The Role:

Provide tele/virtual oversight and clinical collaboration to NP/PA Hospitalists
Offer on-call availability for questions, admissions, and patient management support
Serve as a clinical mentor and coach to help practitioners grow confidently in their roles
Partner with hospital administration and on-site providers to maintain high-quality patient care
Support low-volume hospitalist programs in rural critical access settings

Practice Environment:

Rural Critical Access Hospital
Low daily census hospitalist programs
Averaging 4-10 PPD
Supportive, team-oriented culture
Emphasis on compassionate, patient-centered medicine
Strong collaboration between Medical Directors and administration
