Location: Des Moines, IA – central Iowa metro and state capital region

Job Details
Coverage type: Scheduled clinical hours + call
Schedule: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation
Clinic days: 4–5 days per week
Clinic hours: 8:00am–4:00pm
Patient contact hours: 6 per day
Practice setting: Inpatient and outpatient
EMR system: Epic
Average clinic volume: 10–30 patients per day
Average inpatient census: 10–15 patients
Telehealth available
Nursing support: 1:1
Providers in practice: 1 physician
Supervision of APPs required: No

Clinical Responsibilities
Medical hematology and oncology coverage
Patient assessments and treatment planning
Chemotherapy management
Pain management coordination
End-of-life care
Inpatient rounding at both sites

Requirements
Active state license required to bid: Yes (IA license or active IMLC)
Board certification/eligibility required: Yes (Hematology & Oncology)
Fellowship training required: Yes
IMLC accepted: Yes
Must be willing to cover both Des Moines locations
