Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Orthopedic Surgery Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join a busy orthopedic practice in Marysville, CA. This opportunity provides hands-on experience in surgical and clinic-based orthopedic care, supporting a collaborative team of surgeons, nurses, and ancillary staff.
Compensation: $126,000 for 175 shifts
Responsibilities:
- Assist in orthopedic surgical procedures
- Manage pre- and post-operative patient care
- Conduct orthopedic assessments and follow-up visits in clinic
- Collaborate with surgeons to develop treatment plans
- Perform procedures such as casting, splinting, joint injections, and wound care
- Educate patients and families on treatment, rehabilitation, and preventive care
- Coordinate care with physical therapy and other ancillary services
Qualifications
- Active PA or NP license in California
- Board Certification in relevant specialty (Orthopedic, FNP, or AGNP for NP; NCCPA-certified for PA)
