Night Shift Contract Respiratory Therapist (C-RRT) – Broadview Heights, 13-Week Travel Role

Schedule: 07:00 PM–07:00 AM, Sun–Sat (nights)

Required credentials:

• Valid, active state Respiratory Therapy license
• BLS and ACLS certifications

Core responsibilities:

• Assess respiratory status: lung function, oxygenation, ABGs as ordered
• Develop individualized respiratory care plans based on assessment and medical history
• Administer respiratory therapies (nebulizers, bronchodilators, inhaled medications) and oxygen therapy
• Manage and troubleshoot mechanical ventilators; set and adjust ventilator parameters per physician orders and protocols
• Respond to respiratory emergencies and participate in codes per facility protocol
• Instruct patients and families on respiratory conditions, home care, and equipment use
• Maintain, clean, and perform routine checks on respiratory equipment
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management
