Schedule

• Clinical: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
• On-call: 2 nights/week and 1 weekend/month (night pager call and 24-hour call)

Patient population and case mix

• Adults and geriatrics
• General cardiology
• Phone consults as clinically appropriate

Required procedures and clinical duties

• Provide outpatient cardiology care and document encounters in Epic
• Perform transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) and cardioversions
• Interpret nuclear studies and cardiac CTA
• Participate in scheduled night and weekend call

Facility and support

• EMR: Epic
• Standard outpatient cardiology diagnostic equipment available
• Hospital-based specialty backup
• Support staff: 5 front office, 6 nursing

Privileges, credentialing, and coverage reason

• Hospital privileges required
• Credentialing timeline: ~60 days
• Reason: Supplemental coverage

Licensure, certification, and experience

• Active Pennsylvania medical license required
• Active PA DEA required
• Board certified in Cardiology, Nuclear Medicine, and CTA (all required)
• BLS and ACLS required
• Minimum 1 year cardiology experience
• Proficiency with Epic and ability to perform required procedures independently
