Travel RN – Acute Care (Med-Surg Adult) — Glenwood Springs, CO

We’re looking for a confident, compassionate RN to join a team in Glenwood Springs, CO on a contract/travel assignment starting ASAP. This role focuses on adult acute care and med-surg patients, including post-surgical care, and offers a 36-hour schedule at a rate of $2,207.

What you’ll be doing:

• Assess, monitor, and document patients’ conditions and responses to treatment.
• Provide skilled nursing care for adult medical and post-op patients.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and ordered treatments safely and accurately.
• Monitor vital signs, pain levels, labs, and other indicators; recognize and respond to changes in condition.
• Initiate appropriate interventions and escalate concerns to the care team as needed.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care plans.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation and follow infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.

What we need from you:

• Active RN license (state-specific or compact, as applicable).
• At least 1 year recent acute care or med-surg nursing experience preferred.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.
