RN Clinical Educator – Operating Room (Contract/Travel)

Requirements

• Current RN license (Oregon)
• BSN required; MSN preferred
• BLS (HCP), ACLS, PALS, CNOR required
• Minimum 5 years hospital nursing experience
• Minimum 3 years operating room experience
• Experience in clinical education, course development, or simulation preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems
• Strong communication, organization, and teaching skills

Core Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver clinical education and training for hospital staff in collaboration with department leaders
• Serve as a clinical education resource and subject-matter expert for perioperative staff
• Use simulation mannequins and training software to conduct skills-based education and competency assessments
• Evaluate learning outcomes, revise curricula and training methods as needed
• Support regulatory and accreditation education (DNV) and Quality Management initiatives
• Promote teamwork, professionalism, and the hospital’s mission
• Assist Quality Department activities and other education-related assignments as requested
