Join a tertiary care team in Minneapolis, MN as a locum tenens CRNA covering both inpatient and outpatient settings. Coverage begins 08/17/2026 and is ongoing. You’ll work a mix of 8-, 10-, and 12-hour clinical shifts (start times typically 6:30 a.m.; common end times 3:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m., or 7:00 p.m.). Optional beeper call is available for weeknights and weekends.

Who you’ll care for

  • Patient population: adolescents through geriatrics (12+)
  • Case mix: general anesthesia in a tertiary facility with access to specialized surgical services
  • Note: CRNAs are not expected to perform blocks, arterial lines, epidurals, or spinals

What the facility offers

  • Level III trauma center using Epic EMR
  • Standard OR and anesthesia equipment with onsite anesthesia team and surgical specialty backup
  • Care team model (4:1) supported by a 24-hour anesthesia aide department
  • Locum coverage is intended to supplement existing staff

Clinical responsibilities

  • Provide general anesthesia and perioperative anesthesia care for scheduled surgical and procedural cases
  • Work within a supervised care team model, collaborating closely with anesthesiologists and surgical teams
  • Monitor patients throughout the perioperative period and document all encounters in Epic
  • Phone consults as clinically appropriate; admissions included

Requirements & credentials

  • Active Minnesota RN license required
  • NBCRNA certification required
  • ACLS and BLS required
  • Minimum 1 year CRNA experience
  • Epic experience required
  • Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Privileges, credentialing & logistics

  • Hospital privileges required; credentialing typically takes about 90–120 days
  • Travel, lodging, and malpractice coverage provided per facility guidelines
