We’re seeking a Critical Care NP/PA to join a cardiac surgical ICU team in Clinton Township, MI, on a locum tenens basis. You’ll be caring for adult post-operative cardiovascular surgery patients in an inpatient setting, working 12-hour shifts (rotating 6a–6p, 6p–6a, 3p–3a). Typical census is about 12 patients, and the unit uses Epic.

What you’ll do

• Provide autonomous, high-quality clinical care in the CVICU.
• Manage post-op cardiovascular surgery patients, including advanced cardiovascular monitoring.
• Collaborate closely with the supervising physician, who will be present during your assignment.

Assignment details

• Start date: June 1, 2026, ongoing.
• Coverage type: Supplemental clinical coverage.
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered.

Required credentials

• Active Michigan license.
• Board certification.
• BLS, ACLS, and CALS.
• Acute care training and certification.
• NPDB report required.
