Join a team in Medford, WI, providing locum tenens emergency coverage in a busy hospital setting. You’ll work 12-hour shifts covering days and nights in an 8-bed ED (Trauma Level IV) that sees about 40–60 patients per shift and a projected annual ED volume of 11,260 for 2025. This role is clinical only, supplemental coverage, and starts ASAP with ongoing needs.

What to expect

• Mix of outpatient and inpatient emergency care, including receiving newborn deliveries in the ED.
• Backup support available from anesthesia and general surgery, with lab and OR response, plus telecardiology and telestroke services.
• ED/UC APPs are on staff to support patient care.
• Charting and documentation using Epic.

Logistics and support

• Hospital privileges required.
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are provided.

Credentials required

• Active Wisconsin license
• Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine
• BLS and ATLS certifications
