Location: Moultrie, GA
Position type: Permanent, Clinical-only (inpatient/outpatient)
Service setting: Outpatient clinic with inpatient/low-risk OB supervision opportunities
Coverage: Vacancy; ASAP – ongoing

Schedule:

• Mon–Fri, 8:00 am–5:00 pm
• Typical week: 2 clinic days, 1 precepting day, dedicated administrative time for GME education
• No overnight call required unless you opt into OB or inpatient adult medicine coverage

Clinical volume and workflow:

• Clinic patient load: ~10–12 patients per half day
• Exam rooms: 23 total (includes 2 procedure rooms, 2 precepting rooms, on-site lab)
• Opportunities to train and supervise residents in inpatient care and low-risk obstetrics

Procedures performed:

• LARC insertion/removal, Pap smears, sterile vaginal exams/cervical checks
• Joint injections (with/without ultrasound)
• Skin procedures, incision & drainage (I&D)
• Toenail removals

Equipment available:

• MSK ultrasound, handheld ultrasounds
• Ellman radio-frequency device, Blu-U light
• Dermatoscopes, NST

Requirements:

• Active GA medical license or participation in IMLC
• BC/BE in Family Medicine (ABFM or AOBFM)
• Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency
