We are seeking a board-certified Hematology & Oncology physician to provide locum tenens coverage in Hartford, CT. The role includes inpatient and outpatient clinical care with supplemental coverage duties beginning ASAP and continuing on an ongoing basis. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with three clinic days per week. Call responsibilities include 1:10 night call and 2–3 weekend shifts per year. Typical patient volumes are ~10 inpatients and ~16 outpatients per day, with a practice mix of approximately 80% hematology and 20% oncology. Patient population is adult and geriatric. You will join a team of 10 physicians supported by 8 APPs; the hospital is a Level I trauma center and uses Epic. Travel and malpractice coverage are provided.
Requirements: active CT medical license, board certification in Hematology & Oncology. Local candidates highly preferred.
