Join a team in Yakima, WA as a Hematology & Oncology locum tenens provider to help cover both inpatient and outpatient services. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position (8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.), with an infusion suite that operates seven days a week. Coverage begins ASAP and runs through March 31, 2027. You’ll provide clinical care and take phone-based beeper call with a 30-minute response expectation; hospitalists handle most calls and there is effectively 0% call-back.
Typical patient volume is 15–20 per day. You’ll be supported by one RN and one MA, and have onsite pharmacy, lab, and infusion suite resources. The practice includes medical oncology, radiation therapy, and lymphedema care. Epic is the EMR. Temporary privileges are available, but hospital privileges are required. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are provided.
Requirements:
- Board certified in Hematology & Oncology
- Active Washington license or participation in the IMLC
- BLS (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
