Join a compassionate hospice team in Albany, OR, on a contract/travel assignment starting ASAP. This day-shift role runs 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and pays $2,228 per 40-hour week.

What you’ll be doing

• Perform thorough assessments and monitor patients’ conditions, with a focus on pain and symptom management.
• Administer medications and interventions to keep patients comfortable.
• Teach patients and their families about hospice care, what to expect as the illness progresses, and options for end-of-life planning.
• Maintain clear, timely documentation and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary hospice team.
• Provide compassionate emotional and psychosocial support to patients and loved ones.

What we’re looking for

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• Experience in hospice, palliative care, or end-of-life nursing is preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a caring bedside manner.
• BLS required; hospice or palliative care certifications are a plus.
