School-Based LPN in Romney, WV — $35/hr, Contract Days & Flexible Shifts

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
• Active, unrestricted LPN license in West Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
• Pediatric or school-based experience preferred
• Ability to pass required background checks and meet school district requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide basic nursing care under the supervision of an RN
• Administer medications within state scope of practice and document appropriately
• Monitor, assess, and document student health status and changes
• Assist students with medical procedures and daily health needs
• Respond to and treat minor injuries and illnesses; support emergency response procedures
• Maintain accurate health records, medication logs, and confidentiality
• Assist with development and implementation of individualized healthcare plans (IHPs)
• Communicate health concerns to supervising RN and school administration
• Ensure compliance with school health policies and infection control standards
• Perform other duties as assigned
