We’re seeking an experienced lactation professional to join a team in Pittsfield, MA on a contract/travel basis. This role starts ASAP and follows a weekday day-shift schedule (8-hour days) with no regular weekend work, though holiday rotation is required. The assignment is 40 hours per week at a rate of $2,368.

You’ll be coordinating and supporting inpatient lactation services while also providing outpatient prenatal and postpartum education, consultations, and teaching as needed. Experience with Meditech Expanse is strongly preferred.

Must-haves:

  • Current International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) credential in hand — equivalent certifications will not be accepted.
  • A minimum of 2,500 hours of experience as a breastfeeding consultant.
  • At least 1 year of experience as an IBCLC.
  • Prior experience with inpatient lactation programs.
  • Outpatient prenatal/postpartum lactation education, consultation, and teaching experience.
  • Massachusetts nursing license.
  • Active American Heart Association BLS (must be current).
  • Permanent address on file.
  • Board certification and all required certifications must be ready and available.
