Night RN — Med-Surg/Ortho Travel Contract in Lawton, OK | $1,930/36-hr Night Shift

Are you a Med/Surg or ortho nurse looking for a night contract in Lawton, OK? We’re seeking an experienced RN to join a supportive team on a 7p–7a schedule. This travel assignment starts ASAP and pays $1,930 per 36-hour week.

What you’ll be doing

• Assess and monitor patients, documenting responses to treatment.
• Provide post-op and orthopedic care, including joint replacement recovery.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and other prescribed treatments.
• Track vital signs, pain, wound status, and neurovascular checks.
• Help patients with mobility, ambulation, and use of assistive devices.
• Teach patients and families about care plans, medications, mobility restrictions, and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with physicians, PTs, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Recognize changes in patient condition and escalate concerns appropriately.
• Keep accurate, timely documentation and follow infection-control, safety, and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (state-specific or compact, as applicable).
• At least 1 year recent Med/Surg and/or orthopedic nursing experience preferred.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.
