Travel RN - Med/Surg & ED (Nights) — Meeker, CO (36-hr Contract)

Requirements:

• Active, unrestricted RN license in practicing state
• Minimum 1 year Med Surg and/or ED experience preferred
• Strong assessment, triage, and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced settings
• Proficiency with EMR systems and accurate clinical documentation
• BLS required; ACLS, PALS, TNCC as required by facility
• Effective verbal and written communication; teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient assessments, monitor status changes, and document care precisely
• Administer medications, treatments, IV therapy; provide wound and post-op care
• Triage patients, respond to emergencies, and perform rapid assessments/interventions
• Manage trauma, cardiac, and other critical patients per emergency protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team for coordinated, safe care
• Provide patient and family education on treatment plans and discharge instructions
• Maintain infection control practices, operate essential clinical equipment, and ensure a safe care environment
