Travel RN – Med-Surg/Float (Nights) | Columbia, MO | 7p-7:30a Contract

Join a Columbia, MO team providing compassionate, hands-on care to medical-surgical patients on nights. This is a contract/travel opportunity starting ASAP, working 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m. shifts (nights). Compensation is $2,437 for a 36-hour week.

What we’re looking for

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current BLS; ACLS preferred when applicable.
• Recent medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Willingness and flexibility to float to other units as the needs of the hospital dictate.
• Strong clinical judgment, clear communication, and excellent time-management skills.

What you’ll be doing

• Provide direct nursing care for medical-surgical patients, including assessment, monitoring, and documentation of patient status.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and other ordered treatments safely and accurately.
• Float to other units when needed and adapt to varying patient populations and workflow.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care and facilitate transitions.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and adhere to established safety and quality standards.
