Patient population and scope

  • Adult and geriatric patients; pediatrics may apply in primary care
  • Consults and follow-ups required
  • Gastroenterology: general GI conditions, preventive care, chronic disease management
  • Otolaryngology (ENT): evaluations, follow-up, collaborative surgical support; limited inpatient rounding
  • Primary Care: comprehensive preventive, acute, and chronic care

Facility and team

  • 268-bed acute care hospital
  • Hospital EMR (details on request)
  • Multispecialty medical and surgical backup available
  • ENT clinic: 1 ENT physician, 1 audiologist, 1 additional APP
  • GI clinic: 2 physicians, 1 additional APP
  • Primary care: collaborative physician and APP team
  • Employed position within hospital medical staff

Credentials and compliance

  • National certification as Nurse Practitioner (or Physician Assistant where applicable)
  • Active Arkansas license or eligibility to obtain
  • Active DEA (if required by specialty) and specialty-appropriate life support certifications
  • Standard hospital credentialing process

Required qualifications and skills

  • Certified NP (or PA) with relevant clinical experience preferred

  • Strong documentation and EMR proficiency
  • Willingness to participate in quality improvement and service-line growth

Duties and responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient clinical care within assigned specialty
  • Evaluate patients, develop and implement treatment plans, and manage follow-up
  • Collaborate with supervising physicians and care teams
  • Maintain timely, accurate EMR documentation
  • Participate in quality improvement and practice development activities
