We’re looking for an experienced Med/Surg RN to join a team in Mattoon, IL on a contract/travel assignment starting ASAP. You’ll work day shifts (12-hour) from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with every-other-weekend coverage. The assignment pays $2,290 per 36 hours.
What the role looks like
- Practice on a medical-surgical unit with a supportive team and predictable day-shift schedule.
- 12-hour shifts, days only — consistent hours help maintain work-life balance.
- Weekend rotation: every other weekend.
Must-haves
- Minimum 3 years of recent medical-surgical (Med/Surg) experience.
- Active Illinois RN license (Nursys must show active IL license).
- ACLS (American Heart Association).
- BLS (American Heart Association).
- Permanent address must be outside a 50-mile radius of Mattoon (local candidates within 50 miles will not be considered).
