Clinical scope and volume:
- Specialty: Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Annual deliveries: ~350
- Typical patient volume on call: 16–19 patients
- Procedures expected:
- High- and low-risk pregnancy management
- Fetal heart rate interpretation
- Complicated and routine deliveries
- Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
- Surgical/open gynecology
- Support: 2 RNs, 4 MAs, Family Medicine OBs and residents
- Pediatric capability: Level II
- Department beds: 4 labor rooms, 4 postpartum rooms
- EMR: EPIC
- ICU: facility does not have an ICU
- Hospital privileges required
Credential and certification requirements:
- Oregon medical license (active)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE)
- DEA registration
- BLS and NRP
Logistics and compensation:
- Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance provided by facility
