Locum Tenens Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician — Fresno, CA (Inpatient; Mar 2026–Ongoing)

We’re seeking an experienced OB/GYN to provide locum tenens coverage at a community hospital in Fresno, California. This is an inpatient role providing supplemental coverage starting March 2026 with an ongoing engagement. The hospital has about 375 beds, uses Epic, and is a non‑trauma community facility.

What the schedule looks like

• Flexible shift patterns: 12- and 24-hour coverage (7a–7p, 7p–7a, and 7a–7a shifts)
• Coverage windows needed in March and April (specific dates TBD)
• Clinical duties only

Clinical mix and responsibilities

• Approximately 20% GYN and the remainder OB/inpatient care
• Obstetrics: care for low- and high-risk pregnancies, fetal monitoring and interpretation (NST/CST/FSE), and performance/interpretation of OB ultrasounds including Level I/screening and Level II/targeted anatomic studies
• Labor & Delivery: manage routine and complicated deliveries (including C‑sections, breech, multiple births, abruptions), and make operative decisions such as proceeding to C‑section
• Gynecology: major open and operative gynecologic surgery (ovary removal, cystectomy, ectopic surgery), and management of extensive LOAs

Required qualifications

• Active California medical license
• Board certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• BLS certification
• Clean background with no malpractice history
• Recent NPDB report (obtained within the last 30 days)
