Locum OB/GYN Physician — Inpatient Call-Only (Clinton, NC) — Travel, Lodging & Malpractice Covered

Seeking an experienced OB/GYN to provide locum tenens inpatient coverage in Clinton, NC. This supplemental, call-only assignment runs Mar 23–May 18, 2026 with scheduled 24-hour beeper call shifts (8:00 a.m.–8:00 a.m.) on Mar 23–27, May 4–8, and May 15–18. Expected call response time: 20 minutes.

Clinical scope and volume:

• Average monthly deliveries: ~27 (≈11 C-sections); typical census 1–3 deliveries per 24-hour period.
• Admissions and rounding included.
• Procedures: emergent C-sections, high-risk deliveries, routine vaginal deliveries (including low forceps), breech and multiple births, VBACs, repair of 3rd/4th-degree lacerations.
• OB ultrasound performance and interpretation.
• Office/minor gynecology: IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.
• Surgical gynecology: open and diagnostic laparoscopy for tubal ligation, LOA, ectopic surgery, oophorectomy, cystectomy, and other operative/major procedures (diagnostic and therapeutic).
• Laser certification preferred/available.

Support and resources:

• 24/7 hospitalist support.
• On-call anesthesiology and radiology coverage.
• High-risk neonatal transfers to two regional NICUs (approx. 30–45 minutes).
• EMR: Meditech.
• Temporary privileges available.
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance provided.

Requirements:

• Active NC medical license.
• Board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• DEA registration.
• NC Medicaid credentialing and NC Medicare/PECOS enrollment.
• Case logs from the last 12 months.
