Travel Obstetrics RN (Labor & Delivery & Postpartum) — Hilo, HI (Contract)

Join a contract/travel assignment in Hilo, HI, providing obstetrics care on a varied shift schedule. This role starts ASAP and offers $1,879 per 36-hour period.

Core responsibilities:

• Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor and delivery.
• Provide hands-on labor support, assist with deliveries, and manage immediate postpartum care.
• Administer medications and necessary interventions; perform routine postpartum assessments.
• Educate mothers and families on newborn care, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery.
• Accurately document care and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, patient-centered outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• Experience in labor & delivery, postpartum, or obstetrics preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient-education skills.
• BLS and NRP required; ACLS preferred.
