Contract Occupational Therapist — School-Based OT (Ruidoso, NM)

Adelphi seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist to deliver contracted on-site and/or teletherapy services for a public school district in Ruidoso, New Mexico. The therapist will support students by providing direct intervention, conducting evaluations, contributing to IEP development, and collaborating with special education staff in accordance with New Mexico licensure requirements and district policies.

Requirements

• Current, valid New Mexico Occupational Therapy license
• NBCOT certification, if applicable
• Demonstrated experience in school-based occupational therapy
• Ability to provide in-person and/or teletherapy services as assigned
• Resume documenting relevant school-based experience

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services as specified in student IEPs
• Conduct educational evaluations and assessments within district timelines
• Produce comprehensive written evaluation reports with clear recommendations
• Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, special education staff, and related service providers
• Provide consultation, training, and supervision as requested by district administration
• Maintain accurate documentation, case notes, and service logs
• Ensure compliance with IDEA, FERPA, district policies, and professional ethical standards
• Use district-approved technology platforms when providing teletherapy
• Perform other related duties as assigned
