Required qualifications
- Active RN license in the practicing state.
- BLS certification.
- Perioperative/OR nursing experience preferred.
- CNOR preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, organization, and communication skills.
Core responsibilities
- Prepare operating room, instruments/equipment, and patient for surgery.
- Monitor patient status intraoperatively and administer medications as indicated.
- Serve as circulator and/or scrub as assigned; assist the surgical team during procedures.
- Accurately document care and ensure compliance with facility protocols.
- Provide preoperative and postoperative education to patients and families.
