Contract/Travel Registered Nurse — PACU
Location: Hilo, HI

Shift: Varied
Rate: $2,144 per 40 hours

Requirements

• Active RN license in the practicing state
• PACU, post-anesthesia, or perioperative nursing experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• BLS required; ACLS or PALS preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor airway, vital signs, level of consciousness, and overall patient status in the immediate post-procedure period
• Administer medications and pain management interventions per orders
• Recognize and promptly respond to changes in patient condition or post-anesthesia complications
• Provide patient and family education on post-procedure care and discharge instructions
• Accurately document care and coordinate with surgical, anesthesia, and interdisciplinary teams
