Patient population
- Adults and geriatrics (18+)
- Case mix: Interventional pain management (trigger point injections, peripheral nerve stimulation, radiofrequency ablation, nerve blocks, ultrasound-guided procedures)
- Volume: ~2022 clinic patients and ~1820 procedural patients per day
Facility and support
- EMR: Epic
- Onsite equipment: Ultrasound and procedural supplies
- Support staff: RNs and MAs
- Specialty backup: Multispecialty hospital support
- Reason for coverage: Supplemental coverage for established interventional pain practice
Privileges, credentialing, compliance
- Hospital privileges required
- Credentialing timeline: ~90–120 days
- Travel, lodging, malpractice: Covered
Required procedures
- Trigger point injections (TPI)
- Peripheral nerve stimulation (PNS)
- Radiofrequency ablation (RFA)
- Nerve blocks
- Ultrasound-guided pain procedures
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania medical license
- Board-certified in Anesthesiology or PM&R with Pain Management
- DEA required
- Minimum 5 years’ interventional pain management experience
- Proficient with Epic EMR
Key duties
- Provide outpatient clinic and interventional pain services
- Perform scheduled interventional procedures
- Evaluate and manage adult/geriatric pain patients
- Document encounters and procedures in Epic
- Collaborate with physicians and APPs to ensure continuity of care
