Perioperative (Outpatient) RN — Contract/Travel, Days (State College, PA)

Join a perioperative outpatient team in State College, PA — a contract/travel opportunity starting ASAP. You’ll work Monday–Friday, days 6:15 a.m.–2:45 p.m. (40 hours) and receive $2,144 per 40-hour week.

What you’ll be doing

• Provide nursing care across the perioperative continuum in an outpatient surgical setting: pre-op, intra-op, and post-op.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient condition before, during, and after procedures.
• Assist surgeons and procedural teams during cases and help maintain a sterile, safe environment.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Teach patients and families how to prepare for procedures and what to expect during recovery, including post-op care instructions.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and keep accurate EMR documentation.

What we’re looking for

• Active RN license.
• Current BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• Perioperative or outpatient surgical experience is preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, patient education, and communication skills.
