Requirements:

• Active RN license in the practicing state
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Perioperative or PACU experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced surgical environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and prepare patients for surgery (review history, obtain vitals)
• Monitor patients in PACU, manage pain and recovery from anesthesia
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Accurately document patient care and maintain medical records
• Educate patients and families on preoperative and postoperative care
• Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and hospital policies
