Contract Nurse Unit Manager (RN) — Franklin, NH (14-week)

Join a team in Franklin, NH as a Nurse Unit Manager on a 14-week contract starting ASAP. This role is full-time (40 hours/week) with a typical schedule of 8:00 AM–4:30 PM and pays $2,360 per 40-hour week.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead day-to-day nursing operations, coaching and directing RNs, LPNs, and CNAs to ensure care follows facility policies and best practices.
• Oversee patient care activities — from assessments and medication administration to documentation — and update care plans as patient needs change.
• Help manage staffing and create schedules to keep patient care efficient and safe.
• Mentor and educate staff to support their professional development and maintain a skilled team.
• Monitor quality and compliance: conduct audits, identify opportunities for improvement, and support corrective action when needed.
• Coordinate communication among physicians, nurses, support staff, and families to promote seamless care.
• Advocate for patients, respond to and resolve concerns, and promote a patient-centered environment.
• Respond to medical emergencies according to established protocols.
• Ensure accurate, timely EHR documentation and stay current with healthcare regulations so staff remain compliant.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Active, valid Registered Nurse license in the state of NH.
• Previous nursing leadership or management experience.
• BLS certification.
