Locum Tenens Pulmonary Critical Care Physician — Inpatient ICU Coverage, Longview TX

We’re seeking a Pulmonary/Critical Care physician to provide locum tenens inpatient coverage in Longview, Texas. The role is supplemental coverage starting May 1, 2026 and continuing on an ongoing basis. Shifts are 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., with night call coverage (7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.) on a beeper system; the expected call response time is 30 minutes. Typical patient volume is about 15 patients with roughly 3 admissions per shift. You’ll be supported by four APPs in a 26-bed department; the facility is a Level III trauma center with Level III pediatric services. The EMR systems in use are Athena and Medhost. Temporary privileges are available, and travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered.

Requirements:

• Active Texas medical license or participation in the IMLC
• Board certified or board eligible in Critical Care
