Join a dynamic healthcare team in Lower Township (North Cape May), NJ for a 14-week contract opportunity starting ASAP. This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist role follows an 08:00 AM–04:30 PM schedule.

Compensation:

• Travel: $1,775 per 35-hour week
• Local: $1,750 per 35-hour week

Requirements:

• Active, valid state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist

Role summary:
Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans and deliver direct therapy to improve articulation, fluency, voice, receptive and expressive language, and safe swallowing. Recommend and support use of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) as needed.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough clinical evaluations and diagnostic testing to determine diagnosis and severity
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals
• Deliver therapy sessions targeting speech, language, cognition, voice, fluency, and dysphagia
• Train and educate patients, families, and caregivers in strategies and home exercises
• Assess and recommend AAC options when appropriate
• Monitor, document, and adjust patient progress and treatment plans regularly
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation (assessments, plans, progress notes)
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, educators, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Support patients in generalizing communication skills to daily, school, and work settings
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current in best practices
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
