Contract Speech-Language Pathologist — 14-Week Travel Role in Pittsfield, MA (Up to $2,648/40h)

We’re looking for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to join a clinical team in Pittsfield, MA on a 14-week contract. This role starts ASAP and follows an 08:00 AM–4:30 PM schedule seven days a week (Sun–Sat). Compensation is $2,648/40 hrs for travel clinicians and $2,608/40 hrs for local clinicians.

Basic requirement

• Current, active state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

What you’ll do

• Conduct thorough assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing function.
• Use clinical evaluations and diagnostic testing to determine diagnosis and severity.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that reflect each patient’s goals and needs.
• Provide hands-on therapy to improve articulation, fluency, voice, receptive and expressive language.
• Evaluate and treat dysphagia, teaching safe swallowing strategies.
• Recommend and support use of AAC systems when appropriate.
• Teach patients and families practical strategies and home exercises to reinforce progress.
• Monitor and document patient progress regularly and modify plans as needed.
• Work closely with physicians, therapists, educators, and other team members to coordinate care.
• Keep accurate, up-to-date records of assessments, plans, and progress notes.
• Help patients apply communication skills in real-world settings—at home, school, or work.
• Stay current in the field through ongoing professional development.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
