Contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) — North Adams, MA (14-Week Travel Assignment)

Join a welcoming team in North Adams, MA for a 14-week contract starting ASAP. This full-time role follows a 08:00 AM–04:30 PM schedule, Sunday through Saturday coverage as assigned. Compensation is $2,648/40 hrs for travel or $2,608/40 hrs for local candidates. A valid, active state license for Speech-Language Pathology is required.

What you’ll do:

• Perform comprehensive assessments for speech, language, communication, and swallowing concerns, using clinical evaluation and diagnostic testing to determine diagnosis and severity.
• Develop individualized, goal-driven treatment plans and deliver therapy that targets articulation, fluency, voice, comprehension, expression, and safe swallowing.
• Recommend and support use of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) when appropriate.
• Educate patients and families on techniques, exercises, and strategies to carry improvements into daily life, school, or work.
• Monitor and document progress consistently, revising plans as needed to meet patient goals.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, educators, and the broader care team to ensure coordinated, holistic care.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records, including assessments, plans, and progress notes.
• Stay current with best practices through ongoing professional development.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
