• Travel rate: $2,244/35 hours
• Local rate: $2,212/35 hours

Required License

• Valid, active Speech-Language Pathologist state license

Core Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Diagnose communication and swallowing impairments using clinical evaluation and diagnostic testing.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Provide direct therapy for articulation, fluency, voice, receptive/expressive language, and swallowing.
• Evaluate and recommend augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) options as needed.
• Educate patients and families on home programs, strategies, and safe swallowing techniques.
• Monitor, document, and adjust treatment based on patient progress; maintain accurate records (assessments, plans, progress notes).
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, educators, and other team members to coordinate care.
• Support patients in generalizing communication skills to daily activities, school, or work.
• Maintain professional competence through continuing education and training.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
