Schedule & Compensation
- Hours: 35 hours/week — Sun–Sat, 08:00 AM–04:30 PM
- Travel rate: $2,244/35 hours
- Local rate: $2,212/35 hours
Required License
- Valid, active Speech-Language Pathologist state license
Core Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Diagnose communication and swallowing impairments using clinical evaluation and diagnostic testing.
- Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
- Provide direct therapy for articulation, fluency, voice, receptive/expressive language, and swallowing.
- Evaluate and recommend augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) options as needed.
- Educate patients and families on home programs, strategies, and safe swallowing techniques.
- Monitor, document, and adjust treatment based on patient progress; maintain accurate records (assessments, plans, progress notes).
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, educators, and other team members to coordinate care.
- Support patients in generalizing communication skills to daily activities, school, or work.
- Maintain professional competence through continuing education and training.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
