Rate: Travel: $2,244/35 hrs; Local: $2,212/35 hrs

Requirements:

• Valid, active Speech-Language Pathologist state license

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Diagnose type and severity using clinical evaluations and diagnostic tools.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Provide therapy for articulation, fluency, voice, receptive and expressive language.
• Evaluate and treat dysphagia; implement safe swallowing strategies.
• Recommend and train patients/families on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) as needed.
• Educate patients and families on home strategies and therapeutic exercises.
• Monitor, document, and modify treatment based on patient progress.
• Maintain accurate, current patient records (assessments, plans, progress notes).
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, educators, and other team members for coordinated care.
• Support patients in generalizing improved communication skills to daily, school, or work environments.
• Participate in professional development to stay current in the field.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
