Requirements:

• Active, valid Speech-Language Pathologist state license.

Position overview:
Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. Deliver individualized, evidence-based care while collaborating with interdisciplinary team members and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify types and severity of communication and swallowing disorders using clinical assessment and diagnostic testing.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Deliver direct therapy targeting articulation, fluency, voice, receptive and expressive language, and dysphagia management.
• Assess and recommend augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) solutions as appropriate.
• Educate patients and families on strategies, exercises, and safe swallowing techniques to support carryover into daily life, school, or work.
• Monitor and document patient progress; revise treatment plans based on outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, educators, and other care team members to ensure coordinated, holistic care.
• Maintain timely, accurate records including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Participate in professional development to stay current with best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
