Rate: Travel: $2,317/35 hours; Local: $2,282/35 hours

Requirements:

• Valid, active Speech-Language Pathologist state license

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Diagnose type and severity using clinical evaluation and diagnostic testing.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Provide direct therapy targeting articulation, fluency, voice, receptive/expressive language, and pragmatic skills.
• Evaluate and treat dysphagia; implement and teach safe swallowing strategies.
• Recommend, implement, and train patients/families on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) as needed.
• Educate patients and families on home programs, carryover strategies, and compensatory techniques.
• Monitor, document, and adjust treatment based on patient progress.
• Maintain accurate, timely patient records (assessments, plans, progress notes).
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, educators, and other team members for coordinated care.
• Support patients in generalizing communication skills to daily, educational, or work settings.
• Pursue relevant professional development to maintain current practice standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
