Adelphi is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to deliver school-based nursing services in Romney, West Virginia. Working closely with school administration, the RN will provide high-quality care to students in accordance with professional standards and district policies.

Required qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Active, unrestricted RN license in West Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• 1–3 years clinical experience preferred
• Pediatric, school-based, or community health experience preferred
• Ability to pass background checks and required clearances

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care during assigned shifts, including assessment and treatment of illnesses and injuries
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; maintain medication logs and student health records
• Monitor and support students with chronic medical conditions
• Communicate health concerns to parents/guardians and collaborate with school staff
• Assist with individualized care plans, infection control, and public health protocols
• Participate in emergency preparedness and response activities
• Document services accurately and promptly; comply with district, state, and federal regulations
• Maintain professional and ethical standards; perform other duties as assigned
