Location: Marquette, MI – Upper Peninsula community on Lake Superior, approximately 170 miles north of Green Bay and served by Sawyer Regional Airport

Coverage type: Scheduled clinical hours + call
Practice setting: Inpatient

Average patient volume: Approximately 4.3 patients/day
Beds in department: 15
Call type: In-house 24-hour call
Required arrival: Within 30 minutes for emergencies
Respond to ED and L&D within 10 minutes when required
Annual deliveries: Approximately 370–380 OB-managed cases
Teaching environment with FM residents and medical students
Admissions required: Yes

Supervision of APPs required: Yes

Clinical Responsibilities
Low- and high-risk obstetrics
Vaginal deliveries and C-sections
Management of complicated deliveries (breech, multiples, VBAC, abruptions)
OB ultrasound interpretation
Minor and surgical gynecology procedures (preferred)

Board certification/eligibility required: Yes
