Job Description
Marshall is seeking a full-time Orthopedic Surgeon to join our integrated team of healthcare providers. Candidates will be talented individuals with complementary skills, be an active member of the existing orthopedic team and show ambition to lift Marshall to new heights as the preferred Orthopedic provider in our region. MMC Orthopedic clinics are in Placerville and El Dorado Hills. Marshall has committed to supporting the Orthopedic team by investing in facilities and the mission of the department’s services.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
- Full time position with 4 or 5 day work week flexibility
- 32 face to face patient care hours per week
- Minimum 188 workdays per year

- Ability to perform procedures at the main hospital and an outpatient ASC
- Procedure block times provided at each location
- Level III trauma facility
- Level I & II regional trauma centers nearby
- Call requirement is 1:6 with shared weekend and holiday coverage
- Hospitalists & Nocturnists on staff 24/7 for inpatient coverage
- Clinic support staff includes Physician Assistants, Medical Assistants, Referral Coordinator, and other office staff
- High patient satisfaction scores

REQUIREMENTS
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- MD or DO CA licensed or ability to obtain CA license
- Active BLS and ACLS certification
- DEA Certificate
- Experience preferred but not required
- General Orthopedics focus
